Ross was my favorite, too! There were a few seasons in the middle there when I found him over the top in a bad way (like when he had to take time off from his
job because of his anger), and I thought the writers had totally ruined him. But then, the last few seasons, he became the best again.
Joey was my least favorite character. |

I grew to love David Schwimmer, and he was definitely my favorite guy on the show. He was really good at being Ross. My other favorites are Chandler and
Rachel. The thing about Friends is that they worked so well together- all 6 of em.

As a character, Ross could get on my nerves but when Friends ended, I realized how brilliantly David Schwimmer played him. Totally consistent.
My favorite characters were Chandler and Monica though. My sister and I had been rooting for them ever since season 2, I think, when Monica lost her job and she had to help Chandler get fit. We never thought it would happen.

I loved Ross from the beginning. He, Chandler and Rachel were the most consistently funny. Joey and Phoebe were irritating and Monica was bizarre.

He's honestly a comedic genius. Well, when it comes to acting. He is just like... brilliant. You gotta thank the writing too though. He has awesome facials
and timing though. LOVE HIM!

I always say Chandler is my favorite (probably because he is the most like me). but I never really had a Friend that I couldn't stand. I thought for a
while it was Ross but then every time I tried to think of why I didn't like him, I just kept thinking of all the reasons I love him.

Chandler was my favorite but Ross was hysterical in the later seasons.
I know somebody is gonna make fun of me but there were times when Joey said the stupidest things but he was so adorable when he said it I found myself thinking, " Aww, but you know what he means!!"
I guess i'm alone in thinking that huh?

The first two seasons Ross annoyed the hell out of me but once they broke him and Rachel up he slowly starting growing a personality and for the rest of the
series he was the funniest character.
I don't think Chandler and Phoebe were funny all the time but those two had the best one-liners. I though Monica was hilarious from the very beginning up until about the last year and the half of the show. I don't know if it was her baby obsession or what but she was the biggest (and the most shrill) bitch on the show. Rachel and Joey just didn't do it for me. Joey had his moments (Paper! Snow! A ghost!) where he could be funny but they were few and far between and IMO Rachel was never really funny to me. |

Ross didn't become funny to me until he became a nut around Season 4-5...the writers really did a number on his character and David was brilliant with
taking that challenge.
Chandler had been my favorite the first couple of seasons but I have to say that around Season Six and from then on, he was a complete bore.

I can never compare them because they're so funny for different reasons. All those characters had the potential to be really irritating and I think
it's a credit to the six of them that they managed to keep them likable.
Ross got a lot of physical comedy that I don't think anyone but David could have pulled off. A lot of people would have tried to ham up Phoebe's weirdness and ruined her but Lisa was smart enough to play it straighter and let the writing do its job. Monica was just so neurotic it was hilarious, Chandler got the best one liners ever, Matt did a great job of making Joey dumb but in a funny rather than irritating way, and Jennifer did a really good job of just playing off everybody and getting the snark out. The six of them just complimented each other really well. |

I loved them all! But really, it depends on the episode who I think is funny. They all have their funny moments in various episodes.
