And they are making things too neat. Nothing travels from one eposide to the next for the most part. And I don't like that. There is so much more they could have done w/ the different story lines. I really was hoping that they would do something interesting w/ Roland & Emmalin, or even more with him and the new job. The new job hasn't even been brought up since that one ep. Even then, he got turned down for the one, and then later got an opening. It's all too quick I guess. Which is nice since it's not a soap oprea, but it would be nice to have a story line carry over from one week to the next. Keep you guessing a little. and YAY! for Season 3 |

Random thoughts from tonight's episode:
I admit, I didn't dig Frank's "I LET you be a nurse" comment. That was kind of assclownish. But still... I think he's terrified that after 20 years of him pretty much calling the shots and her saying "ok honey" to everything, she's going to develop a new life and won't welcome him into it once she does. He was ok with her shaking things up in their bedroom, but when it comes to really important stuff... her career, hobbies, etc, he's still having a hard time with that, especially now that he's back in Iraq. I'm sticking with that. I HATE the jerkball who is Joan's replacement. I did, however, love that Michael essentially handed the guy his nuts for pulling the plug on Pamela, and then trying to excuse it by saying he was protecting CJ. I miss Chase. At least they're sort of going with this Trevor is struggling with being a hero and wants to go back to Iraq thing. A storyline to look forward to that has lasted for 2 episodes and will spill over to at least a third! I get what he's saying - he loves Roxy and is happy to be with her, but he'd be happier with her if he was home because his tour was over - not because he's injured and was sent stateside while the rest of his group is still fighting. editing... I forgot, Jeremy is back next week. Maybe we're finally going to find out how he's doing, what with Amanda dead and all...

You brought up some great points. I really enjoyed the storyline with the mother and daughter tonight. I can imagine that happens to alot of the military
families with both parents in the military. I think tonight moved Trevor's storyline along a little. I can totally see Frank's side but also this is
the first time Denise has been able to do her own thing.
I will miss Betty. She was a great character. I don't like Joan's replacement. I swear he's the guy from the Wedding Singer.

I hate Joan's replacement. Not just because of pulling the plug on the show, but for the fact that he's been a cocky ass from the start. He just
comes off exactly how Joan explained him to Roland. He wants to move up in the ranks and he's going to do his hardest, but pulling a stunt like that
without clearing it isn't going to help his case.
I don't think they can wrap it up w/ Trevor being upset. It's not something that you can just "get over" in one ep. It's gotta drag
on, which in a way is kinda nice because it gives a better insight to things. I'm sure a lot of people have been in the same situation.
I'm wondering if Jermey home, the fact that he meets the new Dr and Amanda gone if he doesn't start his abusive ways again. Yes his father said/did
all that, but I could see everything adding up to that point again too.
I HATE Betty leaving. I cried when she left and Roxy was just standing there. It was just so sad to see her go, but they left it open for her to come back,
which I really hope she does. She really adds a nice touch to the show. She's a pain in the ass at times, but you gotta love her for that. |

I'm definitely going to miss Betty. My fiancee reached over and wiped a tear when she drove off and said "I KNEW you'd be crying."
I did not care for Frank's comment about "letting" Denise be a nurse. Jackass. I understand he's scared of losing her but he doesn't have to be a jerk all the time. I hope Denise doesn't take things to the next level with Dr. McBicycle. I wish we could see Chase more. I always feel bad for Pamela because she sees him, what? 4-8 weeks out of the year? And I agree with the carrying issues/problems/story lines over to another episode(s). I was really interested in Roland and Emmaline's story line but it seems to be over. |

I agree with what everyone is saying about Frank. I cringed when I heard him say "I let you be a nurse". Oh Frank, Frank, Frank. I understand where
he's coming from though. He's scared of her changing her life because he might not fit into her new life. On the other hand, she has always been
supportive of him and he should really focus on that. I love how he always calls her baby though.
Jeremy coming back next week is going to be oh so good. I cannot wait for that scene. I really really miss Chase. I wish we could see him more too. If we can't see him with Pamela (I LOVE THEM!) then can we at least see him while he's away? 
Betty's farewell was such a sweet moment. I loved how she saw Roxy as her daughter. |

It doesn't even look like she's interested in him besides having someone to talk to that's new in town & share's interest in something that no other wive/husband on post does. I agree with you, he seem's to be scared of getting his home life schedual messed up from what he's so use to. And that denise always being home taking care of the kid and house.
