Long story not so short: I was her stand-in/photo double forever ago on this TV series and I'd started the week before her. I was already getting paid shitloads due to all the overtime/golden time we were getting (with old SAG rates it was $500 to $800/day which I needed at the time) and then I was also offered a speaking part on the show. Booyah! Cut to second week she shows up and we're introduced and I'm giving her director's notes, blahblah, and she won't talk to or look at me or acknowledge me at all. It was an awkward day. At the end of the day the executive producer, who I'd been cool with, told me I wasn't being invited back because Gabrielle said I was "distracting" and was getting too much attention and upset her, and I couldn't keep the part either because it was scenes with her. So I was ass out of a gig that ran forever in Hollywood time.

But since then she's ran into my old roommate, who was a recurring on the show, and she asked how I was doing. I thought that was sweet considering. Since then I've heard a lot of nice things about her, and I get why she did what she did. It was just one of my first bad experiences in Hollywood, and it's stuck with me. Sorry to be repetitive, but I'm sure with time she has changed because since then I've heard many good things/stories about her from my peeps who've worked with her.
