How old was he when it occurred (I don't feel like doing the math)? There hasn't much media about it since the initial situation occurred.

I remember. It was 12 years ago. I don't think it's that big of a deal that he doesn't. It's not like he doesn't know what 9/11 is.

I think the only reason I paid as much attention to it as I did was because my aunt used to work for TWA.

I know it but I doubt my 21 year old brother would though.

I don't get how someone from the US could not know this unless they were too young to remember 9/11.

Well i'm 21 and know so. I feel like it's something everyone knows, or has at least heard before. He never even heard about it before.

I'm 22. I remember the bare bones of the situation, but that's it.

I remember it, but I don't necessarily think it's a super important thing to remember.

I'm 23 and didn't know what that was. I don't think many kids watch the news anyway when they're 7.
I barely remember the Oklahoma City bombing... |

I was 9 and remember it pretty well. I must have a good memory then.

Oh well then nvm. I didn't follow the news then. What flight am I thinking about? This is the one that hit the Pentagon I thought.

Also depends on where you're from....I doubt people in CA heard about it as much as people in New York.
I'm from TX so Oklahoma City was a HUGE deal here. |

I'm 21 and didn't know what it was until I just looked it up. I was 9 at the time.

We're from NY. I remember it always being everywhere. They'd interrupt all my good shows for the coverage.

I honestly didn't remember either off hand. It's not like it somehow had some personal tie to me to remember it. I wasn't a big News watcher 12
years ago.

I can't remember however, the airplane that crashed in Pittsburgh at our old airport in like...1993-1994? Everyone died in that crash too.
