I know a lot of people will say OPI...but I wasn't really THAT impressed with them when I tried it. No more than with my MAC ones. But I recently got NARS Orgasm nail polish, and it glides on like a dream. I don't really want to pay that much for very many nail polishes though.

What is your favorite brand of nail polish, drugstore or higher end? Either one. I want one that goes on really smoothly, and one that doesn't chip easily.

I do like OPI. But I also like China Glaze and Orly. Which both retail for around 8 dollars. But you get them online for a lot less.
http://www.8ty8beauty.com/ I've place a ton of orders with them. Hope that helps! |

Is that a color or a brand?

China Glaze is the brand. They have tons of fun colors and they wear pretty well.

Out of the salon brands, my favorite is China Glaze. I also love Dior polish, but it's ridiculously expensive.

I love Chanel, it goes on so well and stays on for like 2 weeks unchipped! It is so pricey though.
Bourjois is pretty similar too! |

As an extension of what I said before here, I tried the Sally Hanson Hard as Nails one and it goes on pretty good for a drugstore nail polish. I'm not too
much into nail polish but I've tried some that others have given me and the few I bought recently. The Hard as Nails one doesn't go on too thick but
it's really tough and stays on good for a while, it stayed on my nails for at least a week with no chipping. With the other nail polishs from that brand, I
can easily peel it off (I like to peel it off when it's dried up sometimes and it's been chipping a bit etc) without much damage on my nails.

I like the nyx nail polish. It is cheap and has tons of colors.

I like OPI, China Glaze, and Essie. Those are the ones with the best staying power...

I like OPI. I also like China Glaze but a problem I've found is that most of their colors I've tried go on with a matte finish and don't shine.

I've started using OPI in the past year and I like it. I only have one Essie and I don't love the color so I've only used it once.
For drugstore polish, I love Sally Hansen Hard as Nails. It always stays on my nails without chips for at least a week. |

I'd suggest Bubble Bath by OPI even though I hate OPI now.

Why do you hate OPI now?

You can get china glaze at Ulta or online at a bunch of places.
I know a lot of people don't like the OPI pro-wide brush. But I actually like it better than the old brush. |

Most of my collection consists of China Glaze and OPI. They wear the best on me. Orly and Essie fade and chip within days of application, even with a base coat
and a top coat of Seche Vite.
I'm starting to like the Fingerpaints brand too though. And Creative has some funky colors. For whoever asked... China Glaze is now available at Sally Beauty. I usually buy it online, but I had to run to Sally a few weekends ago and bought some in the store anyway, because I have no self control. |
