UPDATE 10:00 AM PT -- After the bathroom break, Britney and K-Fed were both sworn in by the clerk. When it was Brit's turn, the commish asked her to state
her name and she just said, "Britney." The commish then said, "Full name, please." Then she replied Britney Spears. The Commish then
granted a request to close the courtroom.
LMAO at her always just saying "Britney"

I wonder how they were able to get this court date set up without a leak.Maybe something was said previously. Last time Kaplan was in court, when he came out
to give his press briefing, he appeared to be angry and didn't make a statement. I wonder if the Judge put a muzzle on KFed's team.

Britney Spears and ex-husband Kevin Federline separately arrived at a Los Angeles court Tuesday for a custody hearing. Spears, 26, is apparently seeking a
change in her visitation schedule, but details weren't immediately known.
At 8:40 a.m., a somber-looking Federline, wearing a beige suit, entered the courtroom along with his lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan. Spears, also looking somber, entered shortly thereafter with her father. Her blonde hair was straight and long and she wore a white shirt, beige pants, and wedges. She took a seat in the right side of the courtroom, while Federline was seated on left side. Laura Wasser, Spears's original divorce lawyer, is reportedly rejoining the singer's legal team. Wasser was seen entering the courtroom along with a lawyer working for Spears's conservatorship. The pop star currently has monitored visitation with her sons, Preston, 2, and Jayden, 1, three times a week. The ex-couple faces a custody trial in August if they're unable to settle their case out of court. "Our goal is to settle what we can without a trial to achieve what's in the best interest of the children," Kaplan tells PEOPLE. With Laura back I don't think it'll go to trail, leasI hope not.
I have a feeling Kaplan wants to keep this "show" going. Aren't they sick of this? Seem like his side isn't THAT concerned about the children, prolonging this all. |

Kaplan said he wanted to reach an agreement and not go to trial. I was surprised he said that. Kaplan got his PR for helping Kevin get the kids and Kevin is
going to be set for life with Britney's money anyway now. Their goal is done. I don't think Kevin even wants those kids full time. Nothing will be
decided today, but it would be great if she could get some overnights and maybe permission to take the kids to see Maddie soon.
