What products would you recommend to use before straightening and/or curling hair in order to prevent damage ? My hair is thick yet has a silky texture so i
need a product that will not weigh it down or make it really greasy .

I use Biosilk. My hair dresser recommended it to me. It makes my hair really soft and look healthy, I use it when it's wet before I blowdry/ straighten it
and then again afterwards.

I use Tressame products. Their heat protectant spray before blowdrying, their shine serum while straightening.

Tressame products are fantastic. The heat protectant spray and the bouncy curls gel are my favorite.

I use L'Oreal Tec Hot Style Iron Finish. Comes in a cream and spray. Does the trick for me.

anti-snap doesn't work. i like redken heat glide, fekkai glossing cream or chi silk infusion to straighten.
