I'm not talking about accidentally getting pregnant, I mean having a baby that was planned before the couple is engaged or married.

If you're not yet willing to get engaged/married, then I don't see how/why you'd be willing to have a kid with the person. In my mind, those things
come before baby. But, to each his own.

I think it's a mistake. It's hard enough getting married even after a couple has lived together. Add on a baby to that mix and it's not a recipe
for success. For us it was hard enough having our daughter after only 4 months of marriage. Enjoy married life for a bit first and then have a kid.

My brother had four kids out of wedlock so I promised my mom that I would be married when I started popping them out.

As long as the baby was going to a loving, emotionally/finacially stable home I seriously don't care.

I'm not against it, mainly because, kids make any relationship harder. Married or not. If they want to have a kid and then get married, more power to
them. My best friend did it, and she couldn't be happier about it. They've been together for 5 years now however, and their son is almost 1. They
have no plans to get married in the near future either.

I wouldn't do it. However, I generally don't care what other people do. It could be an absolutely fine situation. I have more of a problem when people
plan children but aren't stable in their relationship, financially, or whatever.
