And he's got no license! Good luck with that.

5 years of probation? Yeah. His ass will be going to jail. There is NO doubt in my mind that he will violate his probation sometime in the next 5 years.
And he's got no license! Good luck with that. |

5 years probation and 500 hours community service. That is like one day month. That is BS.

I don't think the victim is blameless in all of this. If Nick had hit someone not involved in the drag racing, it would be a different story. The guy who
got hurt wasn't clueless about what they were going to do.

This is actually a lot better than I thought it would be. I know there was no way he was getting jail time. But 3 years no license and no drinking? There's
no doubt he will violate that and go to jail.

The guy chose to be in the vehicle with him BUT the fact that he's a fricken vegetable hurts my heart more than anything else.
And with that, this boy is getting this? Ridiculous. |

I do think the guy John was not innocent in all of this, but I think it's shitty . Put Nick in jail for some months and let him go through half the hell
his friend is going through. Instead, Nick will be home in his mansion not doing shit with his life.

That is lenient. It doesn't matter whether the victim had a seatbelt on. In almost all states that your responsibility as a driver to insure. Also, its
illegal to drag race. Thats two things he is responsible for.. not to mention underage drinking. This isn't the civil suit where it will be factored in, as
a defense, the conduct of the passenger to limit monetary liability. Criminally.. it doesn't matter what the passenger did. Plus, it shouldn't.

Exactly! They have limo drivers so that's no sweat for him/them.

i blame nick b/c the driver is ultimately responsible for his passengers. i think his friend's choice to ride w/ him is secondary to his choice to drive
reckless. nick made the final decision to endanger his life, his passenger's, and anyone else they might've encountered on the road, so i think
he's the one who deserves the blame for the outcome. it's a real shame that he didn't get a stiffer punishment for what he did, especially since
it wasn't even the first time he's driven like a maniac. this is why celebs have such a big sense of entitlement. they are basically treated as if
they are almost above the law.

Waaaaaaait! I'm watching the live feed on TMZ and the judge said that he believes that there needs to be incarceration.

I don't think Nick should get all the blame. He was in the same car and came out ok because he had a seatbelt on, while his friend decided not to wear one.
