I have come to the conclusion that she cannot grasp the concept
of ANYTHING. So I tell her that it's basically a job application with different information on it. She says (through texting), "Oh bc i got 2do on for
d scholarship it said a resume so what do i say." WTF. I have no other information on what the hell she's talking about, other than she showed me a
scholarship application today at school that she's filling out. I talked to her about letters of recommendation. That's it. That text just baffles me.

I had a girl who lived on my floor in first year university, come into my room and ask me what an F meant, in terms of a grade.

Dannie, I have no idea! That's what I was thinking. I didn't say anything about that...didn't want to further confuse her.
That was mean. Kiki, wow. |

I've always had to send a resume with scholarship applications- in high school, college, and for my grad school scholarship as well.

Ojos, what for?
See, I would have never realized that she needed to send in a resume with her application from what she said. |

For the scholarship committees to have a full understanding of my background/capabilities/what I've done. I've typically had to provide a resume,
transcripts, essay answers, and letters of recommendation. I don't see what is so weird about that.

Oh, ok. For the scholarships I've applied for, I didn't have to submit any resumes. The main issue was that I couldn't comprehend what she was
saying.

ojosazules wrote: Yeah, that's typically what I've had to do. The interesting thing I found out about the last scholarship I got, it was only based on GPA. They
didn't even use any of the other materials and that frustrates me to no end, but whatever. It's the typical slap in the face to students who go through
a lot of work. I should have expected it from my shitty department.
