Everything is almost all the same color. Nothing stands out really aside from that Eiffel Tower. You guys should win an award for that thing. Especially on
those popcorn-like walls. Looks like it would be a job and a half. Fantastic job.

We're slow on the updates.. Here they are though (not finished YET!). Nothing we have is in it's "place" yet because we're still working
on remodeling improvements.
We took out all the carpet and put in hard floors and are redoing the molding:
Here is the crib we got: (From Ikea)
Here is the canopy we're using above her crib: (It won't go up until we can figure out how to mount it securely)
Will update some more pictures soon.. We only have about 9 weeks left.. and about 3 weeks before we have guests come to stay so it has to be done before then ;) |

Some additional "in process" pictures.
Here is the hamper my friend gave me.. it's Sleigh.. looks so cute in person:
Yeh - that's my hubby carrying it to our car from my friend's apartment. She's moving out and was putting things into storage.. and didn't want the hamper to get ruined in storage so she gave it to us
This is before the entire floor was down (it is now). We got new blinds. The old ones were those flimsy metal ones. . that our cat chewed threw and bent all up. So we got some faux white wood ones. We also took off the ugly FL marble window sill and are remodeling it.. and we're going to put some elgant molding around the window as well. (We just haven't yet!)
So there you go!! UPDATES since they were long over due =D I promise to add more in the next few days.. my hubby was supposed to work on her closet nook today but came home with a migraine so I let him have the day off

One Lucky Scoop wrote: It looks fantastic! Question. Is that crib really sturdy? Like would it work for a 1 year old? I've been eying that same one but I know that Ikea furniture can be a little
cheap in construction so I've been unsure about it.

Little lights in the Eiffel Tower would be so pretty.

pinksparklies wrote: Ikea furniture is sturdier than you think. Our bed that we have in our room is from ikea and is extremely sturdy. The crib (as far as we know) feels quite
secure! You'll have to go a store and check it out for yourself =D

Awww those pics are so cute!! I love your theme, it's adorable! I also love the bedding you chose at the end, it's simple yet cute and classy! I'm
gonna have to check out the cribs at Ikea then... I didn't think they'd be that sturdy but I guess I was wrong!! Did you happen to see any black ones
there? Or is white and brown the only colors they have?
Again, good job!! =) |

Kelliferus wrote: I only saw white and brown.. but I don't see why there isn't a reason you can't stain them with some kind of water based stain. You'd have
to research to see what is safe!
