I changed the font, changed some of the wording, removed the white background from the crown, removed the white background from the age below each picture, and changed out some of the pictures (at my husband's request). What do you think? I really wanted to make an invitation with a picture from each month. But I'm wondering if it's a bit much with all the pictures, polka dots, etc. We haven't decided on a theme yet, but I'm thinking either polka dots or a little prince theme. I figured this would cover me either way since the invites need to be done ASAP. Give me your true opinion of what you think of this invitation. But I love the idea (the 12 pictures) don't change that, it is really cute. How would you be able to photoshop a crown on any of the pictures without covering his face? There really is no room anywhere in the pictures without making the crown smaller and then you'd probably lose the look and people would be guessing as to what it is. I don't like the crown in the middle of the invite. Maybe in a corner or a different picture, maybe a baby with a crown in the corner? My only real qualms is the white font, otherwise everything else is cute!

I like what Kat said, but thought of some other ideas myself: -maybe you could put months 1-6 across the top and then months 7-12 going across the bottom and have the party info in the middle -If it's possible and still readable, I would take away the white box/background behind the months and just write it in white font like the party info is written in. -I know you wern't asking for help as far as wording goes, but I would take out "help" in front of celebrate so it just reads "Come join us for a cookout to celebrate Trenton's first birthday!" one last thing: your son is adorable!

But I can't think of what else to do with the writing and all the polka dots. I want the crown on there, but I can't figure out what to do with it either. My husband said it looks out of place right now. I definitely want to keep the 12 pictures, just don't know what to do with the rest. loco4NSYNC: I like the idea of removing "help" from the celebrate part. I will definitely do that. Thanks for the compliment! I think he's adorable too...although I'm very biased as his Mommy!!

I would move the crown - take and photoshop it onto his head in the last photo. It's fitting that a prince should be wearing his crown ... That section looks too busy with letters, polka dots and the crown. It would much better on his head. Just put a drop shadow behind the lettering and it should be fine. And keep the same font throughout all the words. I think that is what is hard to read also, the thing with Trenton is like bold or something and makes it twice as hard to read. Maybe put the crown, still in the middle, but at the very top. Underneath that in a larger font, put the "time flies, turning one" heading. Then below that, just a one line of "Join us for Trenton's birthday celebration." I don't think you need to say again that it is his first birthday because you implied that in the header. Make that one line one font size smaller than the big heading. Then after that, another font size smaller, put the information, where, place, time, etc.. Again, I think it is adorable, polka dots, colors, crown, pictures. It is just the font that I've got a problem with

I will play around with moving the wording and crown around tonight when I get home. What font color would you suggest? I agree that I don't like the white, but I can't think of what color to do that would show up good against the polka dots. Maybe just take the suggestion about the shadow on the letters and keep it white??
