I was just curious, because I asked someone and they said it was a Quinceanera, but either this was someone famous/or child of someone famous, or it was for
some show, because there was a red carpet, and there were cameras and microphones all over the place, interviewing these girls on the red carpet. It was
infront of the castle.

Maybe they were filming some promos/or doing a big one for promo? The quinceaneras are the new big they are selling along side the Disney weddings.

Ah, I just went to a Disney board I post at- it was a special event for 15 girls as part of the "Year of a Million Dreams" celebration.

I don't work there but they were doing a Quincenera event there today. The girls won a contest and got to celebrate it there with their families.

Some people will pay out the bucks when they book Disneyland for a private event. If you have the cash, you can even run Fantasmic! and the fireworks

I used to laugh when guests would complain about the park closing early to cater to a private party. It was somewhat unfair though

world, I don't want Wedding Mickey and Minnie darn it!

We were going to, they still have our deposit that we can use. We kept getting the "we can't do that" my father in law offered 10K to see if we
could get ONE private trip around the rivers of America on the Mark Twain, and it was well we can't do that. So we gave up, that was the last of the
"we don't offer that" that broke the deal .
Kind of glad we did since the construction at the Grand would have made a great back drop! Plus we had paid for the Fantasimic dessert for a rehearsal
dinner...and well the suite took that away. It got very annoying.

I hate that Suite, looks so boring and being a former Cast Member, I can only assume guests who stay are gonna be so disappointed with how nothing goes on

I would be one of those that wants my two hour tour to be taking pics all over the park with the robe on, and that is about it. Well I would love to get it on
in that tub, but I know I would be freaked out that there was a stranger in the next room!
We just ran off and still spend the weekend in Disneyland, and put more money towards our house, but next year we might still do something...just not with all the silly limitations that they offer. Lets just say I got what I wanted for free...amazing what getting an ordained friend on the Mark Twain with you can do.

I'd rather win the night in Cinderella's castle in Florida

Me too! Actually once the kids are older I SO want to go there. But right now it makes no sense to spend that kind of money if they won't remember. I want
to be there for Mothers day, but my son should only be about 10 days old then...that would NOT be smart

No, I used to wonder what some parents were thinking bringing a newborn to Disneyland. I mean, it puts a damper on the fun seeing as they all can't go on
rides together. Ricky said he'd go to Disney World with me, I met him through working at Disney
