I want to get my mom a special gift for Mother's Day, especially since we live 5 hours away from each other and I won't be able to see her. Does
anyone have any good gift ideas? She's a typical mom, but she doesn't like "pampering" stuff and she is not a big reader. BTW she is in her
early 50s.

Yes very true, according to me, you can gift a dinner on mothers day for your mom, or gift vouchers, household items, home furnishings, apparels, but according
to me best gift is a dinner, going whole family together, this will make your mom very happy. For more gift ideas please refer below link, i once purchased
from this site a gift voucher, it is a nice one.

How about a digital photo frame w/ a bunch of pictures of you? Since you don't get to see her so often.

I agree with a nice bag, or a watch, something girly like that.

I got my mom, mother-in-law, and grandmother a catalogue gift card. You pick which catalogue you want to buy a gift card for, and then they go online and pick
what they want and it gets shipped to their house. I already gave my mom hers because she went away for an extended vacation and she LOVED it!
Let me see if I can find the site I got it from... |

Get her a nice handbag. The Sak & Fossil have really nice affordable leather ones. Try ebags.com if you don't want to go to the store.

I'm treating my mom to a pedicure. But your mom isn't into that, so I'm no help.
