It turns me off when guys don't have any college education

I was out there about a week or so ago and just got chatting to some guy at the pub and I was like so what college are you in, "Oh I don't go" "So what do you do?" "this and that" Goodbye mate I had nothing else to say after that. I know you don't HAVE to go to college, but whomever I'm dating I'd rather he did.

And, no, I never graduated college...just took a few courses. You don't have to go to college to be smart or a good speller so I think that's irrelevant. The guy is just dumb.

I don't mean for it to be a college vs. no college debate because I know there are plenty of people that didn't go to college that are very smart. I just feel like this guy in particular should be doing something with himself and possibly further his education because it's becoming apparent from our conversations that he's not very intelligent. He could definitely use a few writing classes and history lessons from what I've gathered so far.

I know plenty of guys who make a lot of money without a college education. Like my brother, he's 24 and he makes at least $50,000 a year and he has no college education. He's an electrician with the union and as he moves up through the levels, he'll make a lot more. That being said, the guy needs to know how to spell correctly and be able to hold a conversation with me you know? There's nothing that I hate more than people who don't know how to spell. If you're not sure if something is spelled right, FFS google it! I can see every now and then hitting the wrong letter when typing and not proofreading you know. But to spell stuff like "hait" and "weakends" is ridiculous.

Let it go I won't date someone who isn't intelligent, but intelligence is not synonymous with a college degree. Even in my graduate program there are a few morons who I'm shocked will be able to say they have a masters degree. This about sums it up.

I've mentioned two or three times now that I shouldn't have said college education. I was really referring to this specific situation when I made the post and I find this guy to be lazy so it turns me off that he didn't go to college and he's doing nothing with himself.
