If I do, it's a quick hug.
I blame my mother for not showing much affection.

I can't hug or show some affection in public, I want to, but can't!

I don't have a phobia of it, I just think it's kind of tacky.

SOME affection, and not like the teenagers who are all over each other with heavy kissing.

A hug or quick kiss is tacky? I don't have a phobia, but my boyfriend does.

I think a hug and a quick kiss on the lips goodbye is fine, holding hands is nice too. But it doesn't bother me if I dont Publicly display my affection.

I do have a phobia of PDA. When I was in high school, and dating this guy, I couldn't stand having him hold my hand. I'd be driving, and he wanted to
hold my hand. We'd be walking somewhere on campus, and he wanted to hold my hand. Maybe it was because he was my first boyfriend, but I really couldn't
stand it. It was like, "hold your own damn hand!" I don't know if I've grown out of it--I haven't had a boyfriend since--so who knows.

I don't have a problem with hugging people and kissing them on the cheek but I don't like to 'make out' in public. Just the thought of it
really disturbs me.

Somewhat. Holding hands doesn't bother me though, and some kisses or hugs but I don't really like it in front of people I know either. It just seems
like a private thing, I'm a very private person.
