So many people think she's just a career politician who will do or say anything to get elected, that they will accuse this of being a stunt for pity. I'm not saying I agree, just saying it's kind of a different issue than men vs women crying. I don't think it's about that so much as it is about her credibility. A lot of people thought the tears Bush shed while in Israel the other week were staged too. Anyway, like I said, I think there are plenty of substantive, policy reasons to dislike Clinton without having to bring emotion into the conversation.

Nobody was any the wiser. And if I say so myself, I'm good at my job. Being a human being and showing the odd glimmer of emotion doesn't make you incapable of a job - quite frankly, this woman is running to be leader of the most powerful country in the world so I'd damn well like to know that she cares. The fact that she cried for a moment then managed to pull herself back together so quickly is a good thing in my book. She let it out, but then she got right back down to it and didn't let it phase her. That, to me, is just fine. Now, I bet if Obama sheds a tear at any point, these same people criticizing her are going to say it shows how he's a sensitive and humble man who's not afraid of his emotion and that makes him strong. I have no problem with men crying, but the hypocrisy will amuse me.

I wish people would actually pay attention to the candidates stand on the issues instead of silly stuff like this. I like Hillary because she wants to give us universal health care. I like Hillary because she DOESN'T want to give illegal immigrants drivers licenses. Obama does. Those are some reasons I am voting for Hillary. Her tearing up because of something and old friend said does not sway my opinion one bit.
