Am I the only person who cannot get into this story?? I think the idea of it is amazing, but I cant stay interested in the story and I dont feel myself

I literally had to force myself to finish that book. I will admit that the further in you get the easier it gets to stay interested. I did have ot push myself
ot finish though.

I had a lot of trouble with this book too. It takes a couple of chapters to really get into the story.

Has anyone read the one that is based on Cinderella? I can't remember what it's called.

Couldn't get through it. It was so boring and it started to ruin The Wizard of Oz for me.

Hmm what made the book so boring for some of you?
Is it because you watched the musical before reading the book? The musical does mislead people into thinking Wicked the book is just the immediate story about Elphaba and Galinda. I guess it doesn't prepare you for the heavy emphasis on new politics and culture introduced in the book but not really shown in the musical. It does take effort to get through, but it is a good read when you reach the end. |

Tjhe only problem i had with Wicked, was he is discriptive in places where i do not want any discription. It is overly dirty at times, but every where else
wasamazing!

of change, to cold and "wicked" was just too abrubt. And maybe i was reading to fast, but the "Yackle factor" was lost on me |
