Just because he had different kinds of medication in his apartment doesn't necessarily mean that he was taking them all at once. I have several different
kinds of medication on my nightstand, yet I only take 1 regularly. The rest are allergy or migraine medication that I only take when needed.

I have anxiety and I've also had lots of trouble suffering with insomnia myself. It's very easy to get different types of drugs; whether it be
prescription, or over-the-counter. You have your OTC medication and then the RX prescriptions from your doctor. I've become immune to all types of sleep
aids. Just like Heath mentioned... you take the amount you're supposed to and only sleep for an hour. (sometimes, if that) So you add one more to the
dosage because you're so desperate for sleep. If your medications aren't monitored by a doctor.. and, let's face it, we don't always do that,
WE don't know the possible interactions of the drugs we take.
It could be a very innocent action, but we don't always know the outcome. I've taken more than one brand of sleep aid at a time. Along with my anti-anxiety meds. (not at the same time however. But I take my anti-anxiety ones everyday, so it's in my system already.) Add to that, if he truly was suffering with pneumonia, his system would already be weakened. It would be very easy for something to go wrong. There are just so many different possibilities. If they give us the true results of the autopsy and toxicology reports (because we know they don't always do that), then we'll know. Until then... it's anyone's guess. |

knocking Science in that aspect. Those people are GOOD at what they do. I'm glad we have that technology. I think it's fascinating.

Yes they found a rolled up $20 bill near him, however the report that there was some type of residue on it is untrue, there wasn't. They sent the bill in for testing.Hmmm. Kelly admitted that "no testing has been done for narcotics at this time" on the bill, but it's something the police are looking at.http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20173262,00.html |

Ease, what you say is very true. The only ones who'll know THAT is him, and his Creator.

Brokeback Mountain Director: Working With Heath Ledger Was "One of the Purest Joys of My Life"
Ang Lee directed Heath Ledger in his Oscar-nominated role in Brokeback Mountain, where the actor met his ex-girlfriend, Michelle Williams. "Working with Heath was one of the purest joys of my life," Lee said in a statement to Usmagazine.com. "He brought to the role of Ennis more than any of us could have imagined - a thirst for life, for love, and for truth, and a vulnerability that made everyone who knew him love him." Lee is still grappling with Ledger's passing. "His death is heartbreaking," he said. Ledger was found dead Tuesday in his downtown Manhattan apartment. A new report claims drugs, including a $20 bill with narcotic residue on it, were confiscated. Filming on what would have been his next movie, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, was recently shut down, Usmagazine.com exclusively reported. |

I'm just responding to what I have read; an image of what most likely happened has entered my mind and I'm sharing it.

Dirty Coke wrote: As I said I use Xanax to relax a bit on flights and it doesn't make me go to sleep. I know people who use Valium as a sleeping/nighttime thing. Just
saying...because both meds are classified as anti-anxiety does not mean that he used both of them together right then or that he was using both solely to treat
anxiety. Also, Ambien is notoriously creepy for putting people into a state of "wakeful" sleep- meaning they can interact with people, move around,
do things and not remember a thing. He could have while on Ambien taken conflicting meds.

I wasn't a big fan either but this really shocked me. I don't know if I'll be able to watch the 'The Dark Knight'. It'll be too creppy
to see him as The Joker.

I don't get why all the article fail to mention his role in "10 Things!" That was my favorite movie that he was in.

folkbitts, on pratically every prescription pill bottle it says not to mix it with alcohol. Please don't do that. That's not very wise.

His story just keeps getting more sad.
I have a feeling it was a deadly mix of drugs. Possibly coke, plus the prescriptions he was on coupled with pnemonia. That can't be good

I feel the same way and I think a lot of people do as well.
I have NO idea why, but his death has just made me REALLY SAD. I really don't why that is. I honestly felt my heart race yesterday when it was first announced. Like others have said, I'm not what I'd even a Heath 'fan', so why I'm sad over his death is really weird to me. I haven't even really hung out on JJB that much since yesterday because I don't want to see this thread stickied at the top. And I haven't looked at any news shows or clicked on any of the links showing his family and friends grieving. Even though his family and friends will obviously not know if I'm doing that, I just feel it's really....'wrong' to not give them space while they grieve. |
