He just flew from London and he also had pneumonia (they are saying) so likely had ingested other OTC meds which interacted. That wasn't my question. The point is why he was taking BOTH. One OR the other is usually prescribed for people with anxiety issues.

The medicine combined interacted this way. I really don't want to see pictures of Michelle... that is too sad.

Sounds like he just took more than he could handle, fell asleep face down, his respirations slowed way down because of the meds and he asphyxiated on his pillow or bed.

Or vice versa? I've had times like that with medications. One med will bother me with the side effects, so the doctor will call in something else for me to try. He may not have been taking them during the same time frame.

Asphyxiation would be able to be determined in an autopsy.

Obviously we don't know why he was taking both and we'll probably never know but I think the most likely scenario is that he tried one, it didn't work the way he wanted it to, so he got another prescription from somewhere else for another kind. From the sounds of it it sounds like he had quite a few doctors. The main thing that's coming to my mind after reading all of the reports is that he was sick, suffered from depression, anxiety, and insomnia, and instead of trying to take care of himself the way he should have he probably thought he could just go to doctors and get prescriptions and be fine. It was probably simple negligence on his part that killed him.

I just thought he was a great actor was going to continue being a great actor for a really, really long time. I saw him having a career that lasted. Whenever I read his interviews he came across like a good, solid guy who had his feet on the ground and was genuine in the business for the love of his craft. Obviously any time somebody dies too young it's sad but with him I just feel like we hadn't even begun to see the best of him.

Yes they found a rolled up $20 bill near him, however the report that there was some type of residue on it is untrue, there wasn't. They sent the bill in for testing.

You have no idea what drugs interact with others and the Pharmacist can tell you that. Sounds like he was on a lot of medications from different places.. that is very dangerous.
