I once had a roommate who always smelled like shit. She'd go take a dump and I guess she wouldn't wipe very well. When she'd come back to the room,
the shitty smell would just fill up the room. She bathed like once every week. And when she did that, she used the community tub (that no one else in the hall
ever used; we used the showers).

My roomates were 3 girls who all hated me. They stole my books at the end of the year (broke into my room). They also tried to spread a rumor about me that I
bought blankets from the salvation army, didn't wash my hands when I peed and never took a bath. They also forbad me to use their new garbage can that they
bought (lol how petty can you be).

Oh yeah I had another roomate with diabetes who loved sticking herself in the tummy with her needle right at the kitchen table and she got mad when I
confronted her about it.
She was dirty and would leave black foot prints in the tub after she showered. She broke my curling iron when I lent it to her. Her room smelled horrible. She burped all the time and always seemed to have white foam in the corner of her mouth. She was extremely loud. She would cook and leave the kitchen a MESS...like leave dirty dishes in the sink for days. |

She takes a watering can into the bathroom with her (into the stall....)I had a roommate who did that too. The only thing I could figure out was that instead of using toilet paper, she "watered" herself after using the bathroom.  She would tell us when we were out of
toilet paper but would never get it herself, so that's the only thing that made sense to me.
A different roommate: -She would turn the heat on up to 85 when it was still August and 90 degrees outside. My room was an oven every time I came back from class. -She must have been afraid of the dark, because she would complain when I turned off the small entrance light. She even put tape over all the lightswitches, as if that would stop me from turning the lights off when no one was there. My first "roommate" (we didn't share bedrooms, but had a shared bathroom) would let her boyfriend sleep every night on our common room couch. He'd use the bathroom and pee all over the toilet seat and floor, then the two of them would disappear for a few days. If anyone else wanted to use the bathroom we'd have to clean up after him. We complained multiple times, but nothing was ever done. |

-Left open bloody pads balanced on top of trash.
-Put leg on my desk to trim her pubes while I was working on my laptop. -Kept running checklist of guys she slept with, divided by race/ethnicity. -Wore the most rank perfume, then told me my Burberry stunk (I think not, bitch!) -Helped herself to my clothes, then would wash them and put them away, then used that fact as ammo when I confronted her about being annoyed that my favorite pairs of jeans and tops were never available for ME to wear. -Wore my black flip-flops home over spring break without asking and ruined them. Etc etc etc etc. Some of the time we did actually get along.

I have another story, but this one isn't horrible about a roommate in college or by myself/older. It was when I was like 7 and my mom and I lived with this
other woman and her son. He would always beat me and do karate kicks to my body and head. He'd kick our dog all the time too. One day my mom was in the
kitchen and came into the living room to find the boy had me pinned to the ground and he was choking me.
When my mom confronted the woman, she said I was lying and her son wouldn't do those things. I know in the end, my mom actually had to take the woman to court because she stopped paying bills and crap. She said that my mom was the liar and my mom had all the proof and won the case. |

I had no problems with my first roommate, but my sophomore year was a doozy. Our bathroom has this standing tube shower and every so often it would flood a
bit, but you just had to wait until it would very slowly drain before you got out. Well, my roommate, being the bright beam of light that she is, didn't
get the fact that if she opened the shower door while the water was still flooded, then it would flood the bathroom. On top of that, she came to get me in my
room (where I was changing, but it didn't seem to matter to her) and made ME clean it up, with MY towels. Which, for the record, she never apologized,
helped, thanked or offered to wash my towels after-and at this point we had to use coin operated machines. I was not a happy camper.

One year, I lived with a girl that only showered once or twice a month. When she got her period, she smelled like dead fish. She'd leave open, bloody pads
lying on top of the bathroom garbage can. The toilet seat always had either pubic hair, blood, or shit on it. Even after she left the room, the smell still
lingered. I started leaving her post-it notes reminding her to shower.
Another girl I lived with would get booty calls from random guys in the middle of the night..She'd get up turn on the lights, take off her clothes and start covering herself in body lotion. She'd always be back in an hour or two, walk in loudly, turn on the lights again and then proceed to call up her girlfriends and cry about how yet another guy refused to let her spend the night. Last roommate was afraid of guys..my male cousin came to sleep on our couch for a night which she was very upset about..she hid in her room the entire time and when he left she told me what a horrible person I was for putting her through that...I tried to be extra nice to her since she had no friends..but then she'd twist every comment I made and write about it in her livejournal.. She also starting sleeping under her bed because she didn't want me to watch her sleeping. When she finally moved out, she goes 'If I ever see you again, I hope it's in pieces..." |
