Well, if not the Top 200, it's pretty safe to say that Carrie will pretty much dominate the country albums chart for the remainder of '07. Hopefully
it'll do as well as Some Hearts has for the past two years. That album is at #12, two years later.
Also! Found this when I went to Billboard.com to check SH's chart status: "...It's also the best sales week for a female solo country artist since Shania Twain's "Greatest Hits" started with 530,000 in November 2004." |

I loved her first cd. But I don't listen to country stations so I haven't heard her new single or any of her new songs.
Vocally I think she's more consistant than Kelly Clarkson and her voice has more purity. But Kelly is morepersonable and shows tons more personality than Carrie. If Carrie would work on her personality and her unique voice as an artist these comparisons with Kelly would lean more in her favor. |
