I think it's a bit closed minded to say that they wouldn't work anymore. They'd work in a completely different way. No one thought they'd cross onto R&B charts or cross over to different audiences like they did with Girlfriend and Gone. They didn't have to dance around in sparkles and ride fake bulls at their shows. I think that when they split up they were just on the brink of becoming so much more than just a "boyband". They're not the BSB (no offense to fans), I don't think they would've put the same album out again and again with different song titles. And if they had a marketing and publicity megateam like Justin does and they did, they probably would have been able to do a lot more than people give them credit for.

I agree with that. On celebrity, they showed they could cross over into new music, and new markets and they were successful at it. And I wasn't saying there aren't people out there with talent right now. There are quite a bit. But there's also a lot of people who don't.

I'm not sure about NSYNC holding Justin back creatively.... Afterall, every one of the singles released from "Celebrity" had Justin stamped on it somewhere.

So were JC's songs.... They are older now. Whatever they would have done as NSYNC, had they stayed together, would have naturally been more mature, as well IMO.
I can see them singing stuff both JC and Jt have released
