I have been DYING to comment on this. Blasted internet!!
Anyway, I think Lance has every right to broadcast his feelings about the group. I think Justin and Britney should have been able to tell their own story as they know it best, but I'm cool with that too.
Having said that, there is no way in the world you can convince me that if Justin came out with a book with his true feelings about the members of NSYNC and if they were not all love and light the internet world, would not explode with hatred.
As far as the whole OTL deal is concerned, it makes perfect sense to me. OTL was an example of a dying trend: boybands. I do think Justin intended to comeback until he got out there and saw he wanted to stay out there on at the level of success that he was at. Particularly after his career almost ended with the SB. I think the guys had every right to be disappointed and angry, but I also think Justin had every right to do what he did. You can't live your life to please others.
As far as the Britney deal, considering how devestated Justin was and considering the fact that the relationship obviously lasted more than a couple of nights, I am going to chalk that up to being a short version of what happened.

I agree Whitney. The internet and this board especially would go crazy if Justin wrote a book and ever dared to say anything even slightly negative.

Dude, Ginny can you imagine if Justin was all, "JC was terrible for cheating on Bobbie on the regular", "Chris was slightly annoying", "I did kind of wonder if Lance really fit the group"? "Joey totally ruined our momentum when he knocked Kelli up". Dude rage galore.

Ultimately, it appears as though it was his decision to leave the group, which yes, made all the sense in the world, but still probably was something the others didn't necessarily like. So it's more understandable that if all of the others were also going to voice their true feelings, JC, Chris, and Joey would have a more negative slant on their version of the split than Justin's version would. And if this is how it is before the book even comes out, then yes, I'm kind of scared what will happen when everyone does have their hands on this thing.
Oh, It's gonna be fun! Lance is giving us something to talk about and it's obvious people have sides. I heart Lance!
Lance is going to get hatred just like Justin would. You cannot tell any version of the *NSYNC breakup without someone on some side hating. Whatever. Lance is not going to be loved by everyone for telling his truth.

Can't put the blame on the media when Lance is the one that decided to write about them. He knew what he was doing, and definitely knew the media would like the Justin/Britney tidbits.

It may have been an amazing move for Justin, but what about the other 4 that were then out of a job? How do you think they felt at the time? Especially if Justin told them he was coming back and they thought they had nothing to worry about? Yeah, I would be pretty damn hurt and feel betrayed. It's all in the past, but I am happy he will write about the past.

Dude, no. Justin would not get the same treatment, and he already did not get the same treatment,
