I do. I can't help. Plus I like it better, having something solid to see while I'm watching the action in my mind. I can see everyone clearly. I like
all the actors so... I'm glad we have the movies to supplement the books. of course, it's better in the books.

Yes, because I got into them when the first movie came out.

Yes. Especially with Ron/Rupert since he's so like his character. But I always picture the original Dumbledore rather than the new guy (even though
he's not really "new" anymore)

Moreso, I hear their voices when there is dialogue.

Yes, especially with the dialogue. I completely heard Dan and Rupert's voices whenever Harry or Ron spoke. And Snape is totally Alan Rickman. Whenever they
describe his hair as greasy I'm like, "no it's not!"

Yeah, but only with the main characters: Harry, Ron, Hermione, Dumbledore, Snape, etc.

Nope. I somewhat do with Snape but I'm good at imagining my own things from descriptions.

No.

I do with some of them. Others I still have the imaginary version in my head.

I have trouble remembering what I used to imagine the characters as (except Harry because of the cover artwork) but the places and animals and stuff I still
imagine the same as what I came up with

It's weird because I see Harry as looking completely different from Daniel. And I also don't imagine British accents while reading

Yeah, usually.

Nope. All the characters in my mind look nothing like they do in the movies. And their voices are also different in my head.

No.... except for Harry, cause I think Daniel Radcliffe looks like Harry Potter.
Emma Watson's hair is all wrong for Hermione. Parts of it are highlighted blonde and it's not frizzy at all. And (this isn't her fault at all) I think she's too pretty for Hermione. Hermione is supposed to be a bookish nerd with big front teeth (until GOF), frizzy hair... And Tom Felton isn't as pointy/arrogant looking as I imagine Draco to be. And Ron's not as tall/gangly. And Cho doesn't look like I imagined her either. |

For some characters I do. For example I imagine Professor McGonagall like the movie actress but for Harry, Ron, and Hermione I see them like in the drawings
Mary GrandPre has done in the book chapters and book covers.

Not really, maybe it's because I grew up to the books long before the movies, so I already have the characters in my head. If only Hermione was as hot as
Emma.

yes because i just started reading the books and saw all the movies before i got the books, so it helps me

Yes, if they've already been introduced in the movies.
