The film follows a Caucasian hitman (Timberlake) who finds himself being hunted down by the best professional killer in the business, the Black Phantom (Foxx). He manages to turn the tables and holds the Phantom’s family hostage, forcing the Phantom to help kill the mob bosses that took out the contract. Idris Elba and Eddie Murphy were previously mentioned for the cast.

The “Ray” and “Collateral” star will next be seen as the titular character in Quentin Tarantino’s “Django Unchained,” where he plays a vengeful freed slave under the tutelage of a German bounty hunter, played by Christoph Waltz.
