I'll just get a neutral so it won't look so bad when it starts to grow out. If it's only going to be one time and you really want a legit, long lasting manicure for a vacation, I'd probably do a gel polish. You can get it soaked off when you get back and only doing it once shouldn't hurt your natural nails too much. Outside of that, I can't really think of any way to guarantee good nails for the entire trip. Unless you bring your polish, a travel sized remover, etc. with you so you can touch up or repaint any nails that get chipped on the trip. That would be better than the gel polish, but kind of a pain. Have fun on your vacation!Thank you! What's the difference between gel and no-chip exactly? I know no-chips you're supposed to go back to the salon to get them taken/soaked off, but I know you can do it yourself with pure acetone remover, too. They're pretty super popular where I live so a few of my friends have gotten them and have said they've stayed on really well for at least a couple weeks. That's why I'm going to get a neutral in case it does happen to chip, it won't be as noticeable.

...but is it really cocky if you know that it's true?
