Yesterday I brought a dog into my apartment that I'm going to be adopting when I move out. There's no one under me (it's garages), she didn't make noise or a mess, and she was only here for about an hour. I just got home and there's a notice on my door saying it's been brought to the leasing office's attention that I have an unauthorized pet and I need to come register it within 72 hours.
Can I ignore this or do I need to go tell them she only came for an hour and it's not something that's going to happen again?
