Yay! I only recently got into Scandal - through a friend who loves political dramas, and I am HOOKED. So very happy about the renewal. I know most of the talk has been about Fitz/Olivia (who I do love, even though I shouldn't - cheating bastard), but what about the fake miscarriage his wife cooked up?! smiley: sick

I reckon there's more on her agenda than being the 1st Lady. I imagine she has her own designs on power.

This last episode was so good! I hope Gideon doesn't die. But why leave him alive and spend the rest of your life in jail when you can finish him off? Gideon shouldn't have been so boisterous.

that epi was so awesome. i guess i never paid attention to billy because i didnt see that coming- my money was on meli. i hate the fact that im rooting for these cheating behinds because they have sooo much chemistry together.

im sooo happy about season two. this us seriously one of the best shows on tv right now.

SO SO glad this show was picked up! I cannot wait til next season. This last episode, I was literally drooling over Olivia and Fitz's scenes. Like holy wow, do they have chemistry!

Ok. I just saw it and ...W-O-W!!!!! I loved there chemistry before but the last ep was insane. I also thought the ep was very well done. it explained a lot. they're each other's lobster!!!!

So excited for the finale tonight!

I read that next season will only be 13 episodes. I think it's good because the shorter season makes for better Scandals. It's bad because I want 57 episodes.

I'm really excited about tonight too! I heard there are a couple of key confrontations that sound amazing. I have a feeling Mellie is going to be even more deliciously evil tonight. Even though she's a bit of a sociopath, I think she's one of the most interesting characters on the show.

As for S2, I have to admit I prefer 13-episode arches from a story-telling point of view. Even the best shows can often seem bloated with filler when they have the 22+ episodes. But I also hate them for how long you have to wait until the next season. That's why shows like Being Human (UK) kill me as you only get 6-8 episodes and that's your lot for a year!

But they also do that so they can capitalize on the reruns everywhere else.

Right, I love how they do that. "Aww, winter hellatus? Time for White Collar!"

I think like 10 to 13 episodes airing from September to November; 10 to 13 episodes airing February to May. More waiting, but fewer re-runs!

Holy crap last nights episode was insane!

I still love Liv, but Mellie is officially the new HBIC for me.

And Cyrus, it seems, is just as power crazy psycho as Fitz's wife. Maybe more so.

But my favourite moment was when Fitz laid the smack down on the VP. Didn't know he had it in him and acted perfectly by Tony. Can't wait until it comes back in the fall!

Loved last night show. The POTUS was willing to give the presidency up for Olivia was crazy but romantic. I'm glad Olivia didn't go for it. The look on Fitz's face when she told him to go be the man I voted for was priceless. He looked heartbroken. I can't stand Mellie but she is a tough woman and knows what she wants. Cyrus being behind Amanda's murder was a surprise. I don't know who's worse him or Mellie. Could Quinn have been anymore stupid? I know she was in shock but you don't touch the murder weapon. Stupid. Can't wait until next season.

I KNEW Cryus was the person who had that girl killed. I was surprised when they started to play it like the baby daddy was the contractor. Glad to see I was still right.

Great episode! Love this show. I can't wait for a full season this fall!
