But on the other hand, its TRULY sad that it appears from the outside looking in, which is what we are all doing regardless of some stans that feel they "know" her, it appears that she is being passed off to Jason for him to basically babysit, and it was probably set up long ago that he could marry her to protect her assets as well as keep her balanced, im sure she is on some kind of stabilizers just from looking at her and the way she zombie walks through much of her life, the old Britney is LONG gone, and with the addition of her new Guardian/Husband, that has never been more evident
But, let's speculate that, at some point down the line, she decides she no longer wants to be married to this man. Theoretically, wouldn't he have to approve her ability to hire legal counsel to represent her in the divorce?! I don't see that working out too well. Her conservatorship essentially says she is not capable of making legal, financial, and welfare decisions for herself. So no hiring or firing of anyone. She is only allowed to spend money that the conservatorship has provided/authorized for her (there was talk some time ago about her being angry that her father put her on a limited "allowance", etc.). She couldn't go and hire a divorce attorney without Jason's approval. She probably can't even petition the court on her own behalf.
I believe there is another, nonfamilial person on the conservatorship board, and that's a good thing, but if it comes down to it and she starts getting upset, freaking out, emotional because she wants out, and Jason were the type of person to "pooh-pooh" it and convince the court that she's just overreacting and still not capable of making her own decisions or whatever, what's to stop him? I just really don't like that whole angle of it.

And, how can they claim she's not "competent" enough to handle her own affairs, testify in court cases, make financial decisions, and so on, but she can work for The X Factor and all the duties and obligations that entails? That makes NO sense. If I were a litigant against her, that would be the first thing I would be bringing up...

She seemed pretty normal back in the day and now not so much. I don't think she'll truly ever be in control of her own life.

I guess people like to talk without knowing facts or reading COURT DOCUMENTS on the scenarios that took place with her while she had her nervous breakdown. Anyone who's quick to judge and spew crap out the mouth should be drugged by someone and manipulated.. It happens a lot more than it's spoken about.. She did allow it but was at a very vulnerable time in her life and everyone makes mistakes. Then again this is all just letting her make more money so keep the talking up and assumptions it makes her more appealing in my eyes..
It was granted by Judge Goetz on the basis that although Spears appeared to be in improved health, she remained "susceptible to undue influence"..
