You guys are talking about the family a lot but I loved the servants as well. I hated Thomas with a passion and Daisy was getting on my nerves but I just loved Mr. Carson!

Posts: 14730 03/11/2012 11:05 AM Reply Quote More Recent Posts	I hated Thomas the first season and I know he's still a snake but Spoiler [+] when he found out about the goods, I couldn't help but feel sorry for him. He always tries so hard but he's just as vulnerable as the others. Daisy annoys me but I think she's starting to get it. I love, love the Chauffeur.

The romantic dialogue in season 2 between Bates and Anna, especially in the church was cheesy, eye-rolling, and painfully treacly. I could almost imagine the actors stick a finger down their throats after they filmed their scenes, . Also what they did to Robert Crawley's fidelity was uncharacteristic. It was almost as if they ran out of stories for him and they just went with that. Even with my problems, Downton Abbey is still one of the best shows out there and Maggie Smith or the "Chicken Lady" is the best thing in it!
