Hi Everybody,

I saw a segment of a Nick Carter interview on Youtube where it's been alleged that Nick had an arm wrestling contest with Justin. Does anyone know if this is true and if so who won? I heard a long time ago that there may have been an arm wrestling contest between JT and Nick back in 2002 when both of their debut solo albums were being released but to my knowledge that hasn't been verified. I checked Nick's Wikipedia page and it claims that he recently had an arm wrestling contest with JT in 2009 on the Jimmy Fallon Show. I'm pretty sure that's a lie! Regardless, if true, it's nice that they can have a friendly competition with one another.

What do you all think?

This is the first time I've heard the rumor about them having an arm wrestling contest. I find it very hard to believe that it actually happened and no one on this board knew anything about it. There would be photos or something. This board was even more active in 2002 then it is now.

As far as the 2009 rumor goes - I watch Jimmy Fallon on a regular basis. Nick has never been on that show as far as I know and never on with Justin, on that I am positive.

Oh ,this sounds like fiction,Nick and JT were never on the Jimmy Fallon show together,and there isnt any proof that this ever happened .

Yes, the arm wrestling competition is probably fiction. To my knowledge Justin has never said anything about this and it seems that Nick recently started hyping it up. Maybe he needs publicity for his new CD and is trying to hype up a rivalry that really doesn't exist...lol.

I don't remotely see him hyping up anything in the video. The woman asked a question in regards to the solo career thing, and he responded. It's not like he really said anything about the arm wrestling thing, either. Don't see the big deal.

You're kidding right? She asked him a question and he responded "it is what it is". He could have said that never happened.

He looks so much older. I know he is but I guess I was just surprised.

Saying "it is what it is" isn't necessarily saying it did happen or it didn't. He could have said that never happened, he could have boasted about beating him in arm wrestling....but why? Obviously the reporter was trying to stir something up and he knew that. It's not her business either way.

I agree with you blair4990.

Besides, there is an ivillage.com Sept 8th article, "Nick Carter on Staying Fit (and Beating Justin Timberlake in an Arm Wrestle)" where he's asked, "Do you still think you could beat Justin Timberlake in an arm wrestle?" and he is quoted as saying, "Of course I can beat him."

Then there's the 5/2011 Madmen.com article where the article claims Nick recently beat JT in an arm wrestling match.

iheartjustinjc, it seems to me that it's not the lady that's trying to stir things up but it's Nick Carter. And all these claims are being made around the time he's seeking publicity for his new album. I'm just saying something isn't right about that...lol.
