Im here. And Im sorry to say, but it looks like there is something wrong with JJ. They are cuties, but it looks like he has FAS. You guys can bash me or whatever, there is something off with his face. I dont want to start anything, but she was pissed when she found out the papps took a pic of JJ. She might not want the papps to take her sons pic, or whatever but something isnt right.
Just want to point out there is NO clear frontal pics of JJ...which one would need to make a diagnostic facial features comparision to FAS...One cannot tell, from side shots if a child has FAS. You'd have to measure Short Palpebral Fissure lengths ( which is the eyes/lids), smooth philtrum ( which is the ridge above the lips and is typically larger and smoother than "normal"), and then thin upper lips). Most of the time to make the diagnosis based upon facial features one has to have at least those three things. There are other facial charactristics, but those three are the most prevalent and are considered the distictive tells of FAS. Others include: flat midface, short nose, low nasal bridge, microcephaly, minor ear abnormalies, micrognathia, and a few others. So as there aren't any frontal pictures...you cannot say the child has FAS .
