It's so amusing when people say this like the only place they ever frequent is The Ivy or something. Parents take their kids to these chain restaurants because they probably don't have a lot of cash to blow on dining out...since they have kids. For a lot of those people Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Applebees -- that stuff is expensive when you're trying to afford keeping your kids alive. I really don't understand the whole chain restaurant snobbery on JJB.

That being said, if you really are trying to afford to keep your kids alive you should not be in a restaurant at all

Or maybe it's a disgruntled worker who hates their job and would like to see bad things happen to the business they work at.

I personally love those places and many other chains. In the middle of Indiana in a small town you don't get much else unless you want to drive an hour to another town. With how gas prices are now that's not an option all the time. Don't know why you're so offended.... I live in a city where you can get authentic italian food. If you've had authentic italian food you'd know why olive garden is looked down upon. It's like comparing filtered water and toilet water. And applebees is disgusting. I can't help you better understand that. I guess having standards makes me a snob

Well another thing I get from living in the city is a judgmental outlook on small town folk.
