They really aren't obliged to do shit but they're making an effort for the fans, $25.. so what, I'd pay if I was even remotely able to go to this memorial.

They should charge more to weed out the people who are just there for kicks and the people who genuinely want to pay their respects and are true fans

The Staples Center belongs to AEG, the same company behind the 50 concerts planned in London.
Since they only insured about half of the concerts they are in need of extra cash.

it isn't reasonable to expect the jacksons to fund a memorial where 20 thousand people will attend. why should they be out of pocket? if they were trying to make a profit, that would be something else...

i cant believe people are complaiming about them charging. Its going to be chaotic they;ll need police, ambulance (im sure people will be passing out), security, etc, etc. Its going to be a big mess.
