Of all people Donovan shouldn't be the one talking.
He tried to do just what David did but just wasn't good enought to stay and play in Europe.

And i'm sorry but last season David did his job, which is to provide goals, he did that pretty well, it's not his fault Galaxy have the shittiest defence the world has ever seen.

He disappointed me twice, when he went to the US because he was a bench player at Real Madrid and didn't stay and actually fight to regain his position at an European club, even with a cut in his paycheck and a lower status, then when didn't show the proper respect for the institution he agreed to represent, while he was there.

David knew full well what he was getting into when he went to play in America, he was after the cash but i do agree that if you are getting paid to play football then fucking give 100%, and not do a few passes during the game and look sexy.

I think the reason David went there was that he believed his career playing for England was over and he may as well have fun and make money whilst he still could.....as it happens, he got reselected by England and that presented him with a real problem.

David Beckham has never been known to half ass anything, so if that is the case then it's really surprising.

Can't say I blame Donovan. David knew what he was getting himself into, he was brought here to bring something more to the game that's much needed in the US, and he's clearly not taking it seriously, which must suck so incredibly bad for someone like Donovan which obviously cares and is really kinda like the face of soccer for the US around the world. David is being paid butt loads to do that, but he's not.

David just came over here for the money and to hang out with Hollywood stars. He and Posh are he biggest attention whores ever. Everyone with a brain knew he wouldn't contribute much to the Galaxy but the organization let him come anyway. It sucks that his teammates have to deal with someone who doesn't want to be there. Everyone knows MLS is a letdown but he chose to come here anyway. He should've stayed in Europe. They need to just cut him andlet him go.

It sucks for them but if he's gonna play for England and he's still good enough to play for AC Milan....then Galaxy doesn't come close. He's taking a big pay cut to play for AC Milan because he has his heart set on playing for England and its the only way he'll be able to keep up that level of football.
