My birthday is Friday and most of my friends cant have the 4th off to go out and party with me on the 3rd. I don't make a big deal out of my birthday like she does, It bugs me that I can't celebrate with my friends but people can't drop their entire life for something like your birthday. She needs to be an adult and accept that.

It's just, they KNOW that I work every Saturday night. That's when I make money, Saturday nights. And they KNOW that I'm off on Sunday nights. I could see if I was taking off work to go out drinking and dancing for her birthday or something but we will definitely NOT be doing that. It's so selfish to expect me and the BF to both get off of work for that. The rest of my family (which is very small) is off Saturdays and Sundays. To make it on a Saturday pisses me off even more...
