^The first season of True Blood was similar to the books but as it goes on it's deviating.

Definitely agree with To Kill A Mockingbird, The Notebook, Atonement, and the LOTR trilogy. I love both the BBC's Pride and Prejudice and the newest adaptation,...

Totally agree with to Kill A Mockingbird and the Harry Potter films.

Also Tell No One- To go from New York in the book to Paris in the movie and also being a foreign movie, that big transition didnt take away from the suspense and good story-telling like the book. Their both excellent!

I liked the recent BBC S & S adaptation. Thompson/Ang version felt too Hollywood to me.

i think the movie version of atonement better than the book. the humor came across better, all the characters, music, and scenery were brilliant, and the one deviation from the book (the end) i preferred.

Even though it was a short story, I'm going to add Stand By Me (adapted from The Body). Oh and I love the 1993 version of The Secret Garden!

I think "Memoirs of a Geisha" was really good. And even though the movies leave a lot of little details out, I think the Harry Potter have been adapted pretty well into movies.
