condoms are better than none at all. And if you have HPV, having unprotected sex can make it worse. Mine cleared up as soon as we started using condoms.
That isn't making sense to me. If you have a type of HPV that clears up you can't get it again, once you have it, you have it. And if your partner has the same kind there's no point in using condoms. If this is a new partner then I understand...condoms may protect you some.

There is NO test for men though.
