yeah, 2nd street and hall manor/allison hill are a little bit different. harrisburg has been ridiculous lately with the shootings.

My aunt lives at 17th and State. I know people have gotten shot just blocks from there in the past. Crazy.

The area near 2nd St. is safe. It's area's like Allison Hill and Hall Manor (where I am somewhat close to) that are scary. I feel safe on my street, but like 5 blocks down is scary.

OMG I was panicking! We'll have Bowz, Paige, Phil, and his friends. They'll take bullets for us!!! I'm excited for the damn t-shirt!

The Police chief has said it's all random! Just stay the hell away from Allison Hill...

I had to spend a lot of time at the State Museum this past spring at night time. I honestly was never scared walking there either. Probably should have been though. lol

It's summer school. And normally I'm not afraid of Harrisburg either. Before teaching I spent most of my time on 2nd and never thought it was a big deal. I've come to learn that past 2nd street you SHOULD have a healthy fear of what's going on. Six shootings in six days.

Why are you guys still in school?

All of the other schools in this area are out already. And I'm so not afraid of being in Harrisburg. Then again I don't venture off of 2nd Street often.

Yep. And it's ridiculous because my father warned me last night to be careful going to and from my car because of 1) the violence lately and 2) my school's proximity to all of it. Next day? Police stand off and I can't even GET to my car.

Good old Harrisburg. Sixth shooting in six days.

Morons shoot up some guy a few blocks away and drive to the Elementary school I'm teaching summer school at. My kids, THANKFULLY were at lunch and didn't witness anything. It all happened right outside our classroom window. I hear sirens getting closer, and closer, some screeching tires, and finally a cop yelling "get your hands where I can FUCKING see them! I need to see your FUCKING HANDS!" It looks like four...
