I wish the writers and Shonda Rhimes would go and George would stay. She sucks as a showrunner for making things unbearable for TR for him to want to quit. I don't blame him for how she wrote him 2 seconds in each episode. Showrunners are supposed to fix issues backstage, she just makes them worse.

No wonder the show is trainwreck backstage with choking and all the divaness going on.

TV Guide is saying it isn't true

Grey's Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes is nipping in the bud talk that the role of George - who last was seen barely alive after being mauled, mangled and mashed in a bus accident - will be recast with a new actor.

"A hilarious, ridiculous rumor" is how Rhimes, via Twitter, qualified the speculation.

Getting someone new to play a surgically made-over George would conveniently pave the way...

UGH! I don't want George to die! I'm ok with TR leaving, I just hate how George is going to die, its so sad! If Izzie lives (and stays) after George dies this way I'll be incredibly pissed!

It comes as no surprise that T R Knight will not be returning to Grey's Anatomy for the next season, according to new reports. We're known for a long time that Knight's wanted off the show, which became a point of unbearable contention between the actor and show creator Shonda Rhimes. Reps for Knight and ABC did not comment. It is unknown if Knight's best hag, Katherine Heigl, will be joining him in his departure.
