I believe that all 3 finalists made the same amount. Someone somewhere posted the stars' earnings week by week, and the only "extra" for the winner is the ugly trophy.

I wonder how much Melissa ended up getting. Going from a Bachelor reject to making thousands of dollars a week for 11 weeks isn't exactly a bad gig.

Shawn desreved to win, she danced the best in the end, Melissa just didn't bring it in the end, and Giles Freestyle was horrible. I heard she is getting a hell of a payday for winning.

I agree, I definitely think it was Shawn's freestyle that won it for her.

There is NOTHING wrong w/ Cheryl. She is the hardest working pro from everything I 've read.

I think Shawn's freestyle put her over the edge. She BROUGHT IT last night on that very last dance at the end. Melissa definitely deserved 3rd and really Shawn or Gilles both are equally good I think.

i didn't have a favorite this season but i always thought Team Shark was cute, then again, i like Mark Ballas, . Anyway, i love it whenever a Ballas or a Hough wins, the other is always sooo genuinely happy for the other, . They really are a family, . Looks like Chuck is becoming one, too.

So Shawn won? I'm glad, she has come a long long way as far as dancing is concerned! To go from being a gymnast to learning a whole different way of moving your body is something in itself! And she is only 17!

I am ok with Shawn winning, but I definitely think Gilles was the better dancer. Not shocked though considering Shawn's popularity vs. Gilles, it is amazing it was that close though.

Jeff Ross was HILARIOUS. I can't stand people who can't laugh at themselves, and take themselves way too seriously. Everything he said was funny and true, if you can't laugh, get over it.

Oh I'm so happy. I thought since week 1 that Melissa was a lock to win (much to my annoyance) but to see her come in third made me so happy.

I liked Gilles but I've hated Cheryl for years. She was a bit more tolerable this year, so I would've been happy with her and Gilles over Melissa, but not by much.

Shawn is just so cute. She's been the only person whose dances I've watched every single week. Other people I'd fast forward through, but I always...
