I'm still jobless and it sucks.....my degree doesn't feel like it's worth the paper it's printed on But hopefully I'll have something to do in the next few weeks...just started the interview process..

I have three friends that graduated in December. Two of them have jobs, but they're not career jobs. They're food service "in the mean time" jobs.

I got my Business Degree last year and haven't found a thing. I've been applying like crazy and so far, only received one call back (which was awhile back ago).

I still work at the job that I've had since 2006. I applied at the YMCA yesterday and I've seriously thought about subbing but I just keep putting it off.

Maybe you should have a friend who found a job out of college look over your resume. A typo, for example, will kill your chances at any job.

Also, if you live in a small town, you are going to have a much harder time finding something. You have to be where the jobs/opportunities are. Think about applying at the major metro areas in your state.

I graduated June last year and am still working at my serving job. I serve a couple days a week and I bartend/close the other couple days. I have applied to jobs in my field and NOTHING.

I can work in both Executive and Legal offices but I've had NO luck. I've also had 5 years + experience in an office job BEFORE I even went to school.

I graduated in May 2008 also, and have yet to find a full-time job. It's so frustrating when you feel like you did everything right in college (I had many internships, jobs and volunteer positions and graduated with a 4.0 in my major and minor), then end up with nothing. I majored in communication and have had p/t positions in retail, banking and a medical office since last year...getting very frustrated, so you're not alone!

I graduated in December 2005 and I still haven't found a full time teaching job. I've been subbing, but nothing full time yet.

Yeah, I always planned on getting my Master's degree, but I'm hoping I can get a job before I go back.

I've heard before that you can't do much with a bachelor's in psych, and that you really need at least a master's. I'm sorry you're having a hard time though.

What kind of job can you get with a BA in Psych anyway? I think grad school is your best bet.

I graduated 12/2007! Still unemployed, I did a contract job for the tax season tho and it took me a whole year to find that. I'm back job hunting now.

No problem. Thanks for the advice, because I know that alot of people besides me are frustrated. In fact, I just got another loan repayment package in the mail today.

Yeah Kamadzea, I've been volunteering at different places to gain experiences because I had none when I first graduated.

came out a bit ruder than I meant sorry, what I was saying is that there have been a ton of news articles not only about the economy but specifically about how america's generation of grads the past few years have an astonishingly low job rate after college. Hang in there and I agree volunteer work to boost the resume if you can afford it.

I graduated from college in May 2008 with a degree in Psychology and still having trouble finding a job. I am going to go back to school for my Master's degree, but still wish I have a full-time job now. Is anyone else having trouble getting a job?
