I should just emphasis that we should be in a time now that being gay shouldn't have any words of negative connotations. There are no derogatory words for straight people, as there shouldn't be for to side.
So then what does "fag" really mean?

And someone said the N word is used to denigrate a black person for the fact that they are black?

I actually agree with that.
