You should get there much earlier than that. I mean, I was there at 5 the night before and there were already people waiting. This was back when he first hosted, before everyone and their mother knew how good he was going to be. I imagine there would be even fewer stand by ticket...

I actually went to espn and they have an audio link for the bill hader interview. Long interview but right at the very end is when he mentioned how seth rogan and zac efron would be hosting then there would be a three week break he said, probably reruns, then the last two shows would be justin timberlake and will ferrell. He and the espn guy had some nice things to say about justin after that. If you go there and listen to the interview just skip to the very end.

Bill Hader once again confirmed this (on some ESPN radio show today).

Justin is May 9. Finale is a week later (hosted by Will Ferrell).

The line really wasn't that bad. It was on a pretty clean, well lit street and there were a lot a people. I imagine Justin would draw even more of a crowd now.

It was pretty organized. There were SNL fans that apparently go every week, no matter who is hosting. And there were bathrooms and such in Rockefeller center that you could use. The only problem was that it was cold, but is was October. That could be better in May. Maybe.

Overall, I'm really glad...

LOL I know this is gonna sound a little crazy, but I would totally spend the night out on the street in NYC if it meant I would have a good chance to see Justin.
A few stipulations though:
1. I would only stay all night if I got there early enough so that I was up near the front of the line and sure to get a ticket in.
2. I'd want someone I know there with me - even if they're not as big of a Justin fan as I am and they'd complain about it the whole time.

To get tickets to SNL you have to apply for the lottery in August. Then you have a slight chance of getting tickets randomly to either a taping or a dress rehearsal. I believe they give all tickets away for the whole year at the beginning of the year.

Every show they give away stand by tickets at 7 AM the day of the show. I did this for Justin's first show. The line started forming around 5 PM the evening before. (I got there around 5. There were two or three people in...
