^ Yikes. I wonder how she fell. Was it the kind where you just shake it off and then later became more serious? I can see how if it were like that she might have refused treatment but it's too bad that she didn't let them help her. Maybe it could have been prevented if they had caught the injury in time.

I feel bad for the family that it was such a covered topic, especially when paps listed her as dead when she wasn't.

This and someone else mentioned how watching Liam in Love Actually would never be the same. I hadn't even thought of that and it just adds to the sadness. My thoughts and prayers are with her family for this tragic and senseless loss.

Is it possible that if she went to the hospital right away after the fall, that they doctors could have done something?

OMG, that's so sad. I'm heartbroken over this. I wasn't her #1 fan, but I can't deny that she wasn't a great actress and I loved her in Parent Trap and Maid in Manhattan. I also highly adore her sister on Nip/Tuck. May she rest in peace. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. It just goes on to show you that life is unpredictable. I'm sure her family is trying to cope with the fact that it was all of a sudden.

this is crazy. i went skiing just a month ago in Canada and I skiied right into a snowboarder who was sitting down on the hill (which is much steeper than a beginner hill) and came crasshing down legs in the air and all.... i bet my fall was a lot harder and faster than hers so its scary how she actually DIED from something I could have very well died from too.

Love Actually is one of my favorite movies from that movie I got a soft spot for Liam. I feel so bad for him and his family and her mother and sister.

It sounds stupid because death IS sudden, but all of this happened so quickly it's odd to me. My brain can't really grasp it. May she rest in peace.

I'll never watch Love Actually the same way again. Liam's character has to go to his wife's funeral after her premature death.

This is so sad. I can never really believe it when things like this happen. My prayers go out to Liam, his sons and Natasha's friends and family.
