i love MOST of the books.......#8 was pretty much a dud for me (filler book) but i was LOVIN it again after #9

But I have looked over the writing and once the characters you love are in the series, it does get better. However, Harris (the author) practically gets rid of Bill and even though Eric is still "important " to Sookie, where is he more than half the time??

There are some things that have been changed in the show and some characters are different than in the books. The show also has stuff that didn't happen in the books.
