OMG it's not that bad. I love this BS about him "threatening" her. Since when is saying your going to discipline your child "a threat"? But yeah he shouldn't have called her names. That's not right.

When she's 15 and running around hollywood, hopping from bar to bar, with no panties on you'll be wondering where the her father is to smack her around the head. I really don't see anything wrong with what he said or his tone, as a angry father speaking to his child. Children shouldn't be petted and a good stern talking usually puts them in their place

I don't care how big of a pain in the butt his daughter might be to him he should never have said those things to her. I can imagine that Kim has definitely done everything she could to turn their daughter against him, but being "driven to the edge" is no excuse. If he's that frustrated then he needs to seek counseling.
I'm a child abuse survivor (physical, mental and sexual) and listening to the message he left for her made all of the old feelings that I thought...

i remember i rolled my eyes at my dad when i was about 10 or 11 and he damn gave himself whiplash trying to get to me to beat my ass. we were in public so he didn't. he just pointed to me with his index finger and mouthed "you wait". 1 hour later when we got home did he forget...... NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOO.

Honestly unless you have dealt with custody issues, or a mother who uses the children against the father, then you can't understand this. My husband has dealt with this exact same thing, during his scheduled calls the phone would be mysteriously off all day, during his scheduled weekends his ex wife would plan a sleep over or a weekend at the beach and then when my husband would show up, all excited and ready for the weekend, his kids wouldnt' want to go because...

On the news they said Kim gave the tape to her lawyer and her lawyer released it to the media. Regardless, I don't think Alec's message was that bad. Believe me I have been called worse but I deserved it because I was a spoiled brat. What's sad is that this is being released to the media so the whole world can hear it. I'm willing to bet Kim was behind this because besides her daughter she would have access to her...

Alec... he was out of line, no question about it. He should have kept his cool and even if he had to get mad, name calling was not a clever idea. I just really don't think a father losing his rag with his daughter is that unusual or as big a deal as it's being blown into.

I personally don't agree with belittling an 11 year old but this is starting to look like a smear campaign against Alec to me. He has always had a bad temper, why is the media acting like this is a new shock? He doesn't seem like a bad person, just passionate. I think that's part of what makes his acting so brilliant.
