I love my home country...if the job market & political situation got a little better, I would leave the U.S. in a heart beat. I still think the U.S is a great country with plenty of opportunities to do your thing. But, ideally if I could choose another place to live in...I'd pick New Zealand or Switzerland. It seems like they have a really high standard of living.

I love the USA. Do we have our shortcomings? Absolutely, but I'm still happy that I'm a US Citizen.

That's one of the reasons why I don't understand all the bitchiness here. People from other counties (most) would give their left foot to live here, and we have so many US citizens (who were born here) who bitch and moan about the big bad USA. I get that we're far from perfect, but compared to a lot of other countries I think we're a DAMN good country.

I think as long as you feel safe that no matter where you live, you're going to say that you feel it's the safest place and you don't want to live anywhere else.

I live in Canada, and although I haven't been to a lot of different countries, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.

I was just in Belgium (Brussels). Their airport sucked. Therefore, they suck.

idk what's up with "America is the best/America rocks my socks" comments but I agree that I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. I think generally people tend to feel that way about the countries in which they grew up. I lived in Denmark for a short time and though it was a good experience, I prefer the US (probably just because that's what I'm used to but still).

I do especially love the US when the Olympics are on though

I was born in Vietnam and I love my native country. But I can't imagine living there than the U.S.
