One time a staffing service sent me to a job in a law office. I think they must have got their job orders mixed up because the law office was moving and had requested someone to pack up a room full of files. I was under 110 pounds and some of the huge packing boxes they expected me to fill with file folders and move were more than that and I had to load multiple ones on a dolly and wheel them out of the file room for the proffesional movers. I walked out on one job. It was the most psychotic job environment ever.
I was newly married, newly moved to the area, husband deployed. The lady was sweet as pie during the interview, offering good terms and salary. I started the following day and was screamed at for 3 hours straight in another language with random personal insults in broken English. I walked at lunch.

Yeah these were all my first round of jobs when I was a teen. It was funny because I would have an interview and be hired ON THE SPOT for all of those jobs. I probably should have thought it over before just accepting but I was anxious for money to go buy clothes and shit. I've never walked off a job. But my husband did

He was working at a car dealer ship, detailing cars and that sort. He was a detailer along with one other guy but he did most of the work and was treated like shit.

Never walked out but only gave a week's notice once. I used to PR for a restaurant group and I was verbally abused by the boss' brother, had food thrown in my face by him. I got a better paying job, told the brother how much of an ass his brother was and gave him one week. The brother couldn't fire family but did something to where his brother was sugar and sweetness to me for the final week of employment. haven't looked back.
